Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the year 1966. She was born into a well-off family. Doody is the third child in the family. She was educated at the convent where she was able to develop a passion for arts. After a few years in the convent, she returned to National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. Then, in the absence of enthusiasm, she decided to take some time off and gave the school ten months. In the meantime, while she was chatting with acquaintances in a caf , an older photographer approached her and wanted to know if she would be interested to model. She accepted, thinking that she'd be able utilize the cash to purchase pocket money. Modeling proved both rewarding and fun, and very soon she did it professionally. Contracts for modeling led to commercial opportunities that would see her throughout the world. In one of these days, a casting director was impressed by her work and suggested she take up acting instead. When she was 19, she was sent to London in which she was selected for the opportunity to play A View to a Kill ( 1985) which was a brand new James Bond movie. She was a natural actor and her love for the role has led her to study it as a profession. Her first movie was followed by a series of TV dramas filmed in London and Dublin. However, her breakthrough came in 1989, when she appeared as the role of Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alison Alison Alison
