Uma Karuna Thurman, an American actress, who made headlines for her role as 'Mia Wallace' in the dark comedy film "Pulp fiction'. In the role, Thurman became one of the top Hollywood stars. She is a dedicated actor who is not afraid to shed her glitzy appearance. She won awards for her deglamorized role as a character in the "Kill Bill" film series. Born into a family known for its unconventional ways of life, and was given a Hindu name and was raised with a Buddhist background. As a child she was criticized for her striking build and large feet. While she's today well-known for her stunning beauty however, there was a time when she was highly insecure of herself and her body. When she was in high school, she found comfort in drama and took part in it. In the belief that she was born to become an actor, she left the school when she was 15, to begin pursuing an acting career.
